Greater Fort Myers ACFE April 2023 Newsletter
PRESIDENT'S REPORT

Hello fellow chapter members!
On March 15, we conducted our first CPE event of the year. It was a tremendous success with 60 attendees coming from not only our chapter, but from non-members across the country.
In addition to this being one of our highest ever attended events, this was also the first time behind the scenes for our newly elected board members. As expected, they rose to the challenge of coordinating Zoom logistics, complying with the national ACFE standards for granting of CPE, and issuing CPE certificates to all eligible attendees among other things.
Our next CPE event is scheduled for Wednesday May 31st at Noon ET and will qualify for 2.0 hours of CPE. The event will be held via Zoom and is titled “Fraud Program Essentials.”
As always, your chapter leaders are continually striving to deliver value through high quality educational events for our members. We welcome and appreciate any comments or suggestions you may for future events.
If you are interested in being one of our future speakers, please contact either Vice President and Director of Training, Angela D’Anna or me.
Thank you for being a member of the chapter!
Scott A. Stringer CPA, ABV, CFF, CGMA, CFE
President
